1100 Aluminum Bar

1100 aluminum bar has excellent ductility, formability, weldability and corrosion resistance. Anodization can further improve its corrosion resistance, and help get a beautiful surface. But the bar cannot be strengthened by heat treatment.

Product Description

1100 aluminum bar has strong corrosion resistance and plasticity. There are cold-rolled bar, hot-rolled bar, stretched bar and so on according to the different production process. The strength of 1100 aluminum is slightly higher than that of 1060, so it is suitable for products with high strength requirements. However, since the aluminum content is not as high as that of 1060 aluminum bar, it is not recommended to use 1100 aluminum bars in the heat dissipation and electrical conductivity industries. 1100 aluminum bar has good machining performance but lower cost. Therefore, 1100 aluminum bar has become one of the most commonly used materials in many industries.
