6061 aluminum bar is made of a high-quality aluminum alloy product that has undergone heat treatment and pre-stretching process. 6061 aluminum bar has excellent processing performance, corrosion resistance, high toughness, leaving no deformation after processing. Product Description

Magnesium and silicon are the main alloying elements of 6061 aluminum. A certain amount of manganese and chromium neutralizes the bad effects of iron. A small amount of copper or zinc can improve the strength of the alloy without significantly reducing its corrosion resistance. Zirconium or titanium can refine the grains and control the recrystallized structure. Mg2Si is solid dissolved in aluminum, giving the alloy artificial age hardening properties. So the 6061 aluminum bar has medium strength, good corrosion resistance and oxidation effect. The bar is widely used in various industrial structural parts requiring a certain strength and high corrosion resistance.
