5154 Electrical-Grade Aluminum Wire is a high-conductivity functional wire made from 5154 aluminum alloy as the base material. It belongs to the aluminum-magnesium alloy (Al-Mg alloy) family, with a magnesium content of approximately 3.5% to 4.5%. It combines excellent conductivity, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength.
Its core characteristics include: electrical conductivity approaching that of pure aluminum (approximately 38–40% IACS), making it suitable for low-resistance current transmission; strong corrosion resistance, particularly resistant to marine atmospheres and industrial environmental corrosion; and enhanced hardness and wear resistance through cold working, making it less prone to breakage.
